I'm the kind of person who prefers to live life as if taking a bite out of a delicious, juicy fruit. I like thunderstorms and dislike when my butt sticks to the vinyl of seat cushions on a hot summer's late afternoon. I adore manatees and when I get a magazine, the first thing that I do is flip the pages and take a deep breath of the inky smell. I experience moments of pure unabashed delight and others of existential terror. I love to backpack and camp because that's when I feel most free. I am afraid of cats. Knitting is one of my favorite pasttimes - too bad for school having gotten in the way. I love to learn but I hate being talked at. Being remembered is something I hope for and am haunted by. Anne of Green Gables is my hero for all of time. Gilbert Blythe is my obese goldfish who swims in his purpetually dirty tank and stares at himself in the mirror I've put next to where he sits on my shelf. It's a broken piece but I think I'm not all that unlucky. I work hard. I sometimes can't contain my secrets. I own Bartlett's. And a quilt. And an ivy plant. I'm Irish-Mexican. People ask me if I'm Chinese. I love to run long distance on a trial because it reminds me of backpacking. The Alchemist is my favorite book. Ripple is my alter-ego from camp this summer when I worked n Colorado. It's the effect that my life has on other people and it's reflection is how their many existances shape me into infinately more than I can write here...
